RESTAURANT MURIEL´S KITCHEN IN LONDON
Muriel's Kitchen is chain of three semi-fast restaurants with healthy food at a reasonable price, and where you can find a range of British classics and European dishes which they change daily. Served within relaxed and comfortable surroundings. It is a good venue for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They open until late, so it's also a good place for a take-away.
The interior design and the staff are pretty and welcoming. Charlotte and Sam personally designed the look and feel of this restaurants, it seems as you where in a beautiful farmhouse. The concept was inspired in the true ‘no-nonsense’ grandmother’s owner, whose kitchen was the heart of her home. Nana Muriel’s food filled the tummies of her many grandchildren returning home from school and fed the minds and souls of their family sitting down at the table after a hard day at work. Some of the secrets of her recipes, which have been passed down the generations, live on through the dishes of this menu today. To pay tribute to her legacy, the logo of the restaurant is her real signature!
The philosophy of this place is that kitchens are the heart of our homes, where breakfasts are eaten, mid morning coffees brewed, catch up conversations nattered, biscuits and cakes baked, new recipes created and evening dinners eagerly awaited. So that’s the marketing and atmosphere they want to create in Muriel’s Kitchen.
The fact that the menu is not to big, means that the food at this restaurant is not shipped in frozen. They also try to buy direct from family-run businesses when they can and prepare new menus every month to be able to catch the season’s produces. The dishes at Muriel’s are inspired by the hearty cooking of mothers and grandmothers and have been developed by chefs to create British classics with a modern twist.
