- Wine Bar: A wine bar (also known as a bodega) is a tavern-like business focusing on selling wine, rather than liquor or beer. A typical feature of many wine bars is a wide selection of wines available by the glass. Some wine bars are profiled on wines of a certain type of origin, such as Spain wine or Champagne. While many wine bars are private "stand-alone" establishments, in some cases, wine bars are associated with a specific wine retailer or other outlet of wine, to provide additional marketing for that retailer's wine portfolio. In countries where licensing regulations allow this, some wine bars also sell the wines they serve, and effective function as a hybrid between a wine shop and a wine bar.

Wine bars in the United Kingdom, began to gain popularity in the 1990s. By early 2000, wine bars became very popular and started popping up in many metropolitan neighborhoods across the country. Wine bars now rival the local hangouts such as coffee shops and local bars. The wine bar phenomenon offers the taste before you buy philosophy.

Wine bars add a new dimension to wine tasting. They seek to remove the association of wine with upscale clientele and overwhelming wine lists and replace it with a more casual and relaxing atmosphere. Many of these bars are furnished with nooks and cozy booths encased in rich colors and plush surroundings in hopes their guests will linger. Wine bars look to embrace the intellectual stimulation linked to wine and offer an alternative to the bar scene. The laid-back environment lends itself to a good socializing setting with a less crowded feel and more intimate appeal.

Modern wine bars have begun to incorporate a larger variety of foods. Traditionally associated with cheeses and desserts, wine bars are looking to combine wine with appetizer-sized gourmet selections to enhance the palate. The concept brings the tastes of fancy restaurants to a dressed-down setting. Restaurant owners and chefs sometimes take the opposite approach and use wine bars as an opportunity for expansion.

- Caveau: Caviste is French for a specialist wine retailer, of which there are suprisingly few in France, presumably since so many consumers buy direct from the producer. But in England finding a decent wine shop o wine bar is your key to getting more out of wine. Any good independent wine bar will have people who know more than just a little standing behind de counter, which often will mean the owner o a profesional sommellier. They usually have a team of passioate, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable staff. Apart from the one-on-one service, independent wine bars can offer a range where the bigger players cannot, we are talking about the mixture of small-scale, off-the-beaten track, artisan producers alongside low-volume, super-premium classics from those with established and well-earned reputations. From here the trick is letting them lead you, allow them to show you new things.

- Urbina Winery: Bodegas Benito Urbina is situated in Cuzcurrita de Rio Tiron, on the north-western edge of Rioja. A family owned estate consisting of some 75ha of vineyards. Four generations of the family have dedicated themselves to the cultivation of their vineyards and production of wine. In 1975 Urbina began to age and bottle their own wine in order to retain the special characteristics of a small single estate. Their sole objective, the production of quality wines, has been achieved as the result of careful viticulture using traditional techniques, harvesting by hand and avoiding the use of weed killers and pesticides. Bodegas Benito Urbina produces 300,000 bottles of red wines and 50,000 bottles of white and rosé from their own vineyards.

- Woking: Is a town that shares its name with the surrounding local government district, located in the northwest of Surrey, England.
